After a 30-hour military operation, the Ukrainian armed forces regained control of Nadija in the Luhansk Oblast. It was reported by the 3rd Army Corps on social media. Located in the east of Ukraine, Luganszczyzna has so far been considered a region completely controlled by the Russians.
‘Nadija In Luganese circuit was liberated as a consequence of a 30-hour military operation. full area recovered from enemy hands is 3 square kilometres“, reported in a communication from Ukrainian social media formation.
‘The acquisition of Nadija, (located at the border with the Kharkiv circuit – ed.), cost the enemy 2 months of effort and 2 destroyed regiments mechanized – 752. and 254. of Russia's 20th Army of Armed Forces," noted the commander of the 3rd Corps, Colonel Andriy Biłecki.
War in Ukraine. Success in the Luhan region
The Luhansk Oblast has so far been 1 region of Ukraine – outside the Crimean Peninsula annexed 11 years ago – most likely entirely controlled by Russian troops. The business of Lugansk began in 2014., erstwhile pro-Russian alleged separatists occupied part of this circuit, including the town of Lugansk, and then held an illegal referendum there and formed the alleged Lugansk People's Republic (LRL), de facto managed by the Kremlin.

The remainder of the region was overrun by Russian forces after a full-sized invasion of Ukraine, launched in February 2022.
3. The Army Corps, an operational-tactical group of troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was formed as a consequence of the transformation of the 3rd Independent Assault Brigade, as reported by its commander on 14 March.
