Submarine for Australia: 5 times more costly and twice longer

Australia intends to allocate over 245 billion US dollars over the next 30 years to acquisition and build even a twelve atomic submarines under the global AUKUS Pact. The construction of 12 classical Attack/Barracuda submarines in its own shipyards would cost 5 times little and run at least a twelve years shorter.
