Fear always wins the election
Nawrocki, on the way to Trump, won.
Nawrocki, on the way to Trump, won.
He won the majority only in the country — 64.2%. As many as 73% of voters with primary education voted for him. Interestingly, among women the top was Trzaskowski.
And then the celebrated performance begins: “The parishioner won, with a manipulated quilt.” Oh, please, in 1 sentence, we exclude 10 million citizens. After all, democracy, according to some, is only for those with a diploma, a cafe under a block and a car in a garage.
And yet—we want it or not— We're all Polish. Those who voted for Nawrocki, too. It is with them that we share the country, everyday life and the future.
So why did he win?
Because his run played on the oldest instrument of politics — fear. And she did it with deadly effectiveness.
What is Nawrocki's electorate afraid of?
1. Refugees
• due to the fact that the parish priest in the sermon does not remind us that the Bible commands the admission of a visitor.
• due to the fact that PiS propaganda says that the migration pact could be blocked, although the majority qualified for.
• due to the fact that it was forgotten that it was the Kaczyński government that issued 6.5 million visas, including 366 1000 for Africa and Asia — a real problem. For all of Europe.
2. Jews
Anti-Semitism sits in Polish genes like an old virus. 6% of Braun's voters believe in fairy tales about "the parent of Christian children". The 21st century and the mediate Ages.
3. Germans
• The trauma of the Second War is inactive alive.
• It is easy to believe in stories about reparations, although Poland effectively renounced them in 1953, and in 2006 the Kaczyński government confirmed that the subject was closed.
• It is not understood that 1/3 of our export goes to Germany, and closing the border would mean 3 million Poles on the pavement.
4. LGBT
• inactive repents the belief that orientation can be “infected”.
• “LGBT ideology” is absurd, and alternatively of laughing, it creates fear. Ideology is expected to convince. And sexual orientation is in genes, or homosexuality is not a human choice, but a kid of God.
• We forget that freedom besides concerns minorities, and homophobia and transphobia have nothing to do with religion.
5. “The demolition of Churches”
Several rainbow halos and shoes at the temple gate — and already PiS sends Bąkiewicz “in defence of churches”. religion must be very fragile if it trembles in front of respective women with banners.
6. Wars
It's easier to perceive to a hatred cry than a love whisper. Fear sells better than the Gospel.
7. Euro
• In 2003, in a referendum, we agreed to accept it ourselves.
• The Law and Justice Office has indebted Poland so much that we do not meet the criteria of entry, and the Democratic Coalition adds its publishing and billions of arms. We will never meet the warucks of entering the euro area.
• Benefits? Cheaper loans, no exchange rate risks, greater economical credibility, more investment and more trade. But it doesn't beat.
Summary
Nawrocki won due to the fact that fear works. We fear what is foreign, fresh and incomprehensible. We fear progress, freedom of speech, cognition and education.
Deep down, we're scared, though we can bark loudly. Like installers.
In Poland, the 1 who can best scare us will win. hatred is catchy, love is boring. Against the Gospel..
