The Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the Minister for Equality, Catherine Kotula, announced that a draft law on partnerships would be submitted to Parliament this winter. Therefore, present we call on the president of Poland Andrzej Duda to reject the announced changes.
Experience from another countries shows that the legal introduction of partnerships is an introduction to full "marriage equality". Including the right to adopt children by single-sex couples.
So-called. same-sex marriages with the right to adopt children have been legal for years in the Netherlands, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria and Ireland. There too, everything began with legalization of "innocent" partnerships.

Legalization of partnerships is in clear contradiction with Article 18 of the Polish Constitution defining matrimony as a union of a female and a man who is protected and cared for by the Republic of Poland.

Therefore, we call on the president of Poland Andrzej Duda to reject the announced changes. They will deepen the process of devastatement of the institution of matrimony and thus undergoing a painful crisis. Allowing the laws to be announced, sooner than expected, will lead to the collapse of a society built on independent and strong families.
