The interview of president Karol Nawrocki in Channel Zero in the Santa Claus unexpectedly turned into an interventional conversation with the convicted kibol of the Legion of Warsaw. Piotr "Staruch" Staruchowicz called the studio, who has not been doing cheering at the club's capital games for months due to the stadium ban. He just asked for a pardon.

The telephone call from "Old Man" amazed both viewers and those in Karol Nawrocki's studio. The interviewer Krzysztof Stanowski, answering the call, asked, "'Staruch', Legia Warszawa?'". The talker confirmed and moved on to a substance he said he had been surviving for months.

"Old man" addressed Karol Nawrocki. "Will Santa Claus bring me pardon this year?"

According to his report, he was punished with a two-year stadium ban for events from the March Legia distant match with Motor Lublin. The court, at the request of the Lublin police, concluded that it was located "in a place not intended for the public", standing on a barrier and leading doping.

– I was punished with a stadium ban for standing on a barrier and conducting doping in Lublin, even though I had accreditation issued by the organizer of the match and could be there, on a fence. However, the Lublin court sentenced me to 2 years of stadium ban – he said, and then straight asked the president, "Will Saint Nicholas bring me pardon this year?".

Karol Nawrocki admitted that he knew the case only from media communications, but did not hide that the decision of the court was amazing to him. – I will deal with pardons at the beginning of the year. Mr "Old Man"'s request, if specified a request has been received, will besides be examined – he stressed and revealed that the requests for pardon "appear to be 1000" on his desk.

And he added: "It sounds unusual erstwhile the cheering fan cannot enter the nest. From public messages, I see solutions far from logical, but I don't know court proceedings yet.

By the way, the head of state put a pin in Donald Tusk's government. – In general, this attack on fans (...) due to the conduct of a nice, patriotic banner for the Polish national squad game, well-known to the public the words of fans, who were specifically checked just due to the fact that they are not supporters of the government. This is simply a regulation at all – (...) if individual does not agree with the government, you gotta do everything to tighten the screw to the end. This is not good practice," Nawrocki stated

And he said to the head of government, "Really, a small chillout, Prime Minister." Let us remind you that the cheering environment is close to president Nawrock, who participated in the kibolian setup years ago.

Who's Old Man? Piotr Staruchowicz was already convicted

Piotr Staruchowicz has been emotional for years among both fans of football and public opinion, and his name has repeatedly appeared on loud court cases.

In 2015 he was convicted of the incidental during the match of Wisła Kraków with Legia Warszawa – 2 years earlier he jumped on the barrier of the stadium and despite calls from the announcer and protection refused to come down, which the court found to be a violation of the law on the safety of mass events.

It was besides loud about the incidental with Jakub Butcherczak, erstwhile after the defeat of the Legion with the Chorz Movement "Old" hit the footballer in the face. The incidental was recorded by a camera and the case went to court. Additionally, there was besides a drug case – Staruchowicz spent 8 months in custody, charged with amphetamine trafficking, but was yet acquitted.

"Staruch" himself in an interview with "Gazeta Polska" in 2011 argued that he became the "public enemy number one" for the PO government, and that all actions aimed at him were part of the repression against the fans' groups protesting against the closing of stadiums at the time – it was during this period that the "famous" slogan appeared in the stands: "Donald, maole, your government will overthrow the kiboles".

The solidarity movement2010 even called him a "political prisoner", and Beata Kemp of Solidarne Poland, the current advisor to president Karol Nawrocki, made a individual warrant for him in 2011. She later admitted, however, that she regretted that decision.
