A firm message by leaders of 26 EU countries before Trump-Putin talks in Alaska

The leaders of the 26 European Union countries agreed at night a common position in which they "welcomed" Donald Trump's efforts to reconstruct peace in Ukraine, but declared that "peace must respect the rule that global borders cannot be changed by force and "the people of Ukraine must have the freedom to decide their future".
