"Continuation of another batch of K2 tanks is inactive ongoing. The cost of poloniuming these vehicles to the K2PL version is counted in billions of PLN and it is not known who will pay for it. We signed a contract for the acquisition of 180 K2 tanks produced in South Korea in 2022 and deliveries are already underway. But there's got to be more tanks like this. Originally, the contract for another batch of 180 Korean K2 tanks was to be signed in early September. At least that's what Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz declared. But talks between the Armed Forces Agency and the consortium of the Polish Armed Forces Group and Hyundai Rotem and between the syndicates themselves are inactive ongoing. And although there are voices that the agreement should be signed soon, it is not obvious. The presumption is that somewhat little than 120 K2 tanks will be produced in South Korea, and then the K2PL tank will be created, its certification and somewhat more than 60 machines will be in the K2PL version, in which the Polish manufacture is to be much larger - they are to be installed in Poland. But there are many problems.
