Polish medical circles, represented by the Catholic Association of Polish Physicians, the Association of Catholic Pharmaceuticals of Poland, the Catholic Association of Polish Nurses and Midwives and the Catholic Association of laboratory Diagnosts, powerfully argue the introduction of a fresh compulsory subject of “health education” to Polish schools.
The planned changes in the programming basis, published by the Ministry of National Education on 31 October, give emergence to doubts, especially in terms of permissive sexual education. According to protestors, this approach poses a threat to the improvement of children and young people, as they express in an open letter addressed to the Minister of Education, Barbara Nowacka.

Position of Catholic medical associations against attempts to implement systemic sexual depravity of children in Polish schools
The Catholic Medical Associations gave the Minister of Education, as part of a public consultation, a negative assessment position proposed on 31.X.2024 by the Ministry of National Education a program basis of a compulsory subject: wellness education, showing the harmfulness to education, education and improvement of children and adolescents of permissive sex education, which would be implemented in Polish schools from 1 January 2025 and contains elements of systemic sexual depravation of children and adolescents. We do not agree to implement specified a programme.

Warsaw, 11 November 2024.
Mr P. Barbara Nowacka, Minister of Education
Minister,
We powerfully disagree with the introduction to Polish schools, from 1 September 2025 proposed on 31 October 2024 by the Ministry of National Education, the programme basis for a fresh compulsory subject: wellness education.[1] The draft of the Regulation of the Minister of Education published on the website of the Government Legislative Centre contains very harmful rules for the education, education and improvement of children and young people as a systemic depravation of children and young people in Polish schools. We protest against attempts to replace optional lessons of education for household life, compulsory wellness education lessons conducted according to the proposed programme basis, along with plans to proceed specified a changed education in subsequent years.
- The Constitution of the Republic of Poland in Article 48 guarantees that: "Parents have the right to rise their children according to their own beliefs". The Regulation of the Minister of Education on specified an crucial change of the curriculum of education cannot deprive parents of constitutional guarantees and forcefully introduce a compulsory strategy of permissive sex education. An highly short, only three-week period for public consultation of fundamental changes in children's education is seen as a reluctance to hear the public talk on this crucial issue.
- In Poland, a good program of sex education, kind A, is being implemented as part of the subject of “education for household life”, which involves raising children and young people in a spirit of responsibility, respect and respect for human dignity. The proposed kind C sexual education model (the alleged comprehensive model) assumes that NGOs and external sex educators are to participate in its implementation. It has been shown that this way of education, which only presents biological aspects of sexuality to students, approves of the focus on satisfying the urges and skips work for himself and the another person, including the emotional and parental aspect of the relationship, teaches children and young people about the treatment.
- There is no logical basis for changing a good sexual education program in Polish schools for many years as a model of sexual education kind A to a harmful kind C. Lawyers from the Ordo Iuris Institute demonstrated through An analysis of the effectiveness of sex education in Western Europe and the Nordic countries[2]that in countries specified as Sweden, Germany and Denmark, where a permissive kind C sex education model was introduced, the number of abortions and pregnancies among teenagers, sexually transmitted diseases and sexual crime increased. The incidence of sexual crimes, including rapes, was about 8, in Poland in 2017, 42 in Germany, 83 in Denmark, and 189 in Sweden. The change from kind A to kind C education proposed by the Ministry of Education will lead to the emergence of these phenomena in Poland.[3]
- The proposed programming basis is totally not adapted to age. tiny children aged 10–12 (IV–VI grade primary school) are forced to educate about sexual relations, the anticipation of experiencing pleasant and safe sexual experiences and informs that autosexual behaviour is simply a medical standard. It is simply a systemic eroticism and depravity of children and youth under cover of concern for their health.
- It is harmful to mature into adulthood to separate the cognition of teenage sexuality from the social context, references to marriage, family, love and work in the sphere of interpersonal relations. There is no concept of "marriage" in the programming basis, and there is no mention of the faithfulness and durability of relationships. Children do not request training “which affects libido” or cognition of various “forms of sexual activity”, they request information about physiological differences in improvement between boys and girls and teaching them to build friendly relationships.
- It is very harmful in the proposed education to show children the pattern of faithful matrimony and a happy household for life, which would trigger a healthy desire for household life. Instead, they will be taught about unstable, informal relationships as well as about the rights of the kid and the obligations of parents towards the child, but not about their parental rights, which can make parenting attitudes, especially in the absence of systematic learning of their own responsibilities towards another household members.
- We do not agree to present to children "different models of families" and their pathologies specified as separation, divorce, parents' entry into fresh relationships. These are harmful acts of anxiety.
- It is completely anti-educational to inform about sex drive without indicating the request to learn to master it as part of increasing up. The programme promotes premature sexual initiation in 13–14 year-olds (Classes VII–VIII of primary school) are to discuss the criteria of "conscious consent" and "mature" and conscious preparation for sexual initiation. Youths in specified education are allowed to engage in premature sexual initiation provided that they undertake sexual intercourse full consciously and voluntarily. We will not find a word in the Regulation about the relation between early sexual initiation and breast cancer and infertility in the future.
- We believe that it is not appropriate to teach children with various alleged "psychosexual orientations" (heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, asexual) and concepts of sex identity (community)., Transgenderity) without defining these phenomena as disorders. 13 – 14-year-olds are to be indoctrinate according to the programming basis in accordance with the demands of LGBT movements.
- It is simply a mistake to communicate cognition of contraception methods to a 13–14 year old child, without informing at the same time about their harmfulness and teaching about household planning methods of observing fertility symptoms in the menstrual cycle.
We consider the highly socially harmful and individually proposed by the Minister of Education a school education programme, the basis for the "health education" theme, in which sexuality is to be discussed in isolation from relationships, love, responsibility, household building and children's attention to their own pleasure.
We ask for complete rejection of the programme base, which exposes children's improvement and wellness to complications and will make it hard in the future to make happy families and faithful marriages.

[3] Sexual education of kind A, B and C was introduced by the American Academy of Pediatrics. kind A is the upbringing to abstinence sexual teenagers, premarital purity and marital fidelity. kind B is biological sexual education, devoid of ethical values, kind C includes both of the above types of education. fresh studies show that Abstinent kind A sexual education has the most affirmative effects. In the United States, sexual education of kind B and C has been implemented for many years, leading to an increased incidence of venereal diseases (syphilis, syphilis, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia), HIV infection and hepatitis, and a advanced number of unwanted, extramarital pregnancies, which unfortunately frequently end in abortion.
