A common candidate?
Interia has reached the information that shows that the issue of finance caused tension in the 3rd Road. Klimczak said in an interview with Polsat News that the decision had not yet been made. The politician besides pointed out that Szymon Hołownia is simply a joint candidate of Poland 2050 and PSL, so the run spending must be "also differently divided". As he pointed out:
Adam Jarubas or Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish were only PSL candidates. I would like to stress that this is our joint candidate, not a candidate supported by the PSL. This is simply a joint candidate of our political entity – the 3rd Way.
The Minister pointed out that the decision would be taken by the president of the PSL, while ensuring that the organization would supply “support to all degree possible”. He stressed that the amount of funds allocated to the joint run was a method issue that is not worth blowing up due to the fact that there is no conflict in this case.
Klimczak besides commented on the deficiency of financial engagement of the PSL in Simon Holownia's campaign, stating that "money is not everything", but that the PSL will supply "any kind of support" to Simon Holownia.
Or possibly not?
However, the situation is not precisely as Klimczak describes it. The question of backing a joint 3rd Way candidate was discussed in the Wednesday episode of the "Politic WF". writer Marcin Fijołek pointed out that while Poland 2050 has drained any funds for the campaign, PSL does not want to spend money to support Szymon Holownia.
Piotr Witwicki, the editor-in-chief of Interia, besides commented on the subject, noting that the presence of PSL, which has extended local structures, plays a key function in the 3rd Way Alliance, which lacks Poland 2050. He suggested that any PSL politicians could contribute to Simon Holowna's run from their own resources, but the organization itself would not support the task financially. Witwicki estimated that the PSL, so far open to various agreements, began to lose religion in the sense of the 3rd Way.
In turn, he stated that the PSL slow begins to retreat from common agreements with Poland 2050.
Poor polls for Holowna
In December, the talker of the Sejm announced that the first circular of the presidential election would be held on 18 May, meaning that the second round, if any, would be held on 1 June.
However, Simon Holown's ratings have been falling steadily for respective weeks. The lead in the race includes Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki, who have almost a certain place in the second round. Sławomir Mentzen besides took a strong position, gaining support of a twelve percent in most polls, putting him in 3rd place. The farm is only placed fourth, and its support does not exceed 10%.
However, there is simply a anticipation of moving distant from the 4th place, due to the fact that the large unknown and the individual who can mess with this year's elections will most likely be Krzysztof Stanowski. According to many commentators, his start in the election, even if joking and geared at Channel Zero range, is actually able to take many votes from individual candidates.
