The main point of the German Weimar working session is the safety of Europe. A fresh incidental at Leipzig Airport, where a Russian-related drone with explosives was detected, was an impetus for closer cooperation. The head of the German MFA categorically excluded dialog with Moscow until the end of the war in Ukraine. In the face of global threats, leaders have announced joint action against acts of sabotage, cyber attacks and misinformation. Minister Sikorski said: “We do not accept the criminal investigating of our borders and hostile actions in our territories. There is no consent to arson, execution and another provocations.” At the same time, he stressed the request to intensify cooperation on a number of levels that strengthen the community and the political importance of the European Union.
Another gathering of ministers was planned for the beginning of 2027 in Poland.
