Prime Minister Donald Tusk met with president Karol Nawrocki on 14 August. This was the first specified conversation since the fresh head of state was sworn in. The visit to the Presidential Palace lasted about an hour, and according to the report, “it was factual”. The discussion focused primarily on how to preserve the safety of the country and the situation of Poland on the global stage.
Further findings and further matters applicable to the state will be raised at the nearest Cabinet Council scheduled for 27 August.
