Tomasz Siemoniak referred to the draft amendment to the 800+ benefit for Ukrainians
"For a long time work has been underway to amend the provisions on the provision of 800+ for Ukrainian citizens," said Tomasz Siemoniak. He stated that the task of the Ministry of abroad Affairs is to seal the strategy and pay the benefits to those Ukrainians who meet the conditions of the program, pay taxes in Poland and are covered by social insurance in the country. On Wednesday, the Sejm is to debate the amendment of the Act.
The Minister of Home Affairs and Administration has stated on the network that the ‘ministerial competences have been working for a long time to amend the provisions on the provision of services 800+ for Ukrainian citizens.
"Our intention is to seal the strategy and pay the benefits to those Ukrainian citizens who meet the conditions but at the same time pay taxes in Poland and are covered by social and wellness insurance“” said Tomasz Siemoniak.

Currently, the provision of the 800+ household is valid for each kid until they are 18 years old, regardless of income. Under the Act on assistance to Ukrainian citizens in connection with the armed conflict in the territory of that country, the benefits are besides granted to Ukrainian parents of children residing in Poland.
