Questions to only 1 candidate
Karol Nawrocki alone answered questions asked by previously recorded people specified as Piotr Ikonowicz, Krzysztof Stanowski, Marek Jakubiak and Adrian Zandberg. It was them, not journalists, who discussed key topics.
Rafał Trzaskowski did not participate in the debate in Koński. Both the Citizens' Coalition staff and Trzaskowski himself refused to participate, recognizing tv Republic as a biased station.
Nawrocki referred, among others, to issues relating to housing policy, support for parents of sick children, household taxation proposal and talked about its origin. Karol Nawrocki pointed out the absence of Rafał Trzaskowski in the debate, suggesting that his rival ignores voters from outside the largest cities and directs his offer exclusively to a circumstantial social group. In his speech, he accused Trzaskowski of disrespect for citizens. He besides critically assessed Donald Tusk's governments, pointing out that during them Poles lost their sense of justice and trust in the institutions of the state.
Two speakers were prepared on stage, 1 of whom remained unused throughout the event. all now and then, the leaders pointed out that they were inactive waiting for the Citizen Coalition candidate to appear.
Health, religion, LGBT
During the debate, Karol Nawrocki announced that during the first 3 months the presidency and experts would present proposals for improvement of the judiciary to guarantee a fair trial for all citizen. If a political agreement is not reached, it plans a referendum on the courts in February 2026.
Nawrocki criticized the situation in wellness care, proposing, among others, the exemption from PIT for families with 2 children and the establishment of a Council on Disability. He assured about signing the Act on Assistance for Persons with Disabilities and the transparency of the backing of NGOs. He opposed the hatred speech bill, called the “Kagan law”. He besides advocated teaching Christian values in schools, with the option of choosing ethics.
The candidate besides addressed the issue of LGBTQ+ security, highlighting equal treatment without privileges and announcing that he would not participate in the Parade of Equality.
Attempt to disrupt the debate
The debate in Koński ran in a tense atmosphere and was not without incidents. Among the people gathered on the marketplace were besides the sympathizers Rafał Trzaskowski, who disrupted the course of the event, which happened respective times with the reactions of the leaders.
Additional emotions were aroused by the presence of MP KO Witold Zembachinski, who appeared unannounced with his own list of questions to the PiS candidate. He tried to break through the crowd, showing a card and shouting erstwhile Karol Nawrocki answered a question about people with disabilities. According to writer Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska, his actions were not previously agreed with the staff of Trzaskovsky.
The situation was further exacerbated by a car with a sound strategy from which a critical speech by Sławomir Mentzen was broadcast to Nawrock. The police intervened and the vehicle was removed from the market.
Following the debate, Marek Woch of the Unpartisan Local Governments gave his support to Nawrock, passing the hydraulic key utilized previously for the charity auction. Parents of children with muscle dystrophy besides performed on stage.
