Ukrainians have the best attitude towards Canada, Latvia and the UK, the attitude towards Poland and the US has worsened importantly – according to a survey conducted by the Razumkov investigation Centre.
According to the survey, Ukrainians have the best attitude towards Canada (93.2%), Latvia (93.1%) and the UK (92.3%). They are followed by countries specified as Lithuania (91.9%), France (91.6%), Estonia (91.4%), Germany (90.3%), the Czech Republic (89.1%) and the Netherlands (87.5%).
Poland is among the countries most viewed by Ukrainian citizens. The negative attitude towards our country was expressed by as much as 32.1 percent of respondents, and affirmative only somewhat more than half – 58.4%. This is simply a crucial decrease compared to last year's survey, in which a affirmative attitude towards Poland expressed 94 percent of respondents.
Also the United States has ceased to be referred to by most Ukrainians as a friendly country. While in August 2023 the rate of difference between affirmative and negative attitudes was 84.1, in January 2024 was 78.2, and in March fell to 67.1.
During the study, interviews with 2020 respondents aged 18 years and older surviving in territories controlled by the Government of Ukraine were conducted.
