The United Surveys by IBRiS survey for WP of 21-23 August gives KO 27.3%, PiS 20.6%, Confederation 14.1 percent and Confederation of the Polish Crown 8.4 percent. Camp KO and Left would have 198 tickets, right full-line 262. The conclusion is simple: the majority present lies on the right.
Leader without majority
The Citizens' Coalition remains the first, but politically this is leading without the hard ability to rule. As shown by United Surveys by IBRiS poll for Virtual Poland, KO has 27.3% support, or 1.4 percent points little than 2 weeks earlier. This is simply a decline after a series of cases hitting the credibility of the power camp, including after publications on distributing money from flood aid in Lower Silesia.
But the most crucial thing is not the very first place. The most crucial thing is the arithmetic of the Sejm. KO and Lewica would have a full of 198 tickets, and the majority would request 231. The difference of 33 seats is simply a gap, not a method inconvenience. For Donald Tusk, this means 1 thing: even the winning poll does not give him power if the erstwhile coalitions are sinking under the threshold.
Coalitions under the threshold
According to the survey, Poland 2050 has only 0.8% and PSL has 3%. This is simply a politically brutal result, due to the fact that it shows how much the 3rd Way task evaporated after taking work for the governance. The left side remains above the threshold with 7.1 percent, but its consequence is not adequate to recreate the current layout.
For the right-wing electorate it is simply a signal that the coalition on 13 December begins to pay the bill for its own promises, conflicts and sense of the impunity of the elite. Opposition doesn't gotta shout erstwhile numbers do their thing. A akin image of force on the ruling camp has shown already poll Pollster, in which KO led, but the seismic strategy remained tense.
The right is growing, but it needs a full lineup.
Law and Justice evidence a 20.6% increase of 2.8 percent points. The Confederacy has 14.1 percent and according to the HR it grows the strongest, by 3.5 percent points. There would besides be the Confederation of the Polish Crown Grzegorz Braun of 8.4 percent and the improvement of Plus Mateusz Morawiecki of 6.5 percent.
The mandates are as follows: KO 169, PiS 122, Confederation 77, Confederation of the Polish Crown 38, Left 29, improvement Plus 25. The PiS, Confederation and improvement Plus block alone would have 224 tickets, 7 not enough. Only joining Braun's formation gives 262 tickets. It's a clear but politically demanding majority.
The discussion of possible agreements between the Confederate and another parties has been coming back for months, as illustrated by statement by Przemysław Wipler on a possible government coalition. This poll shifts the burden of conversation elsewhere. The right has voters, but it has to answer whether it can translate their votes into real power alternatively than another circular of common claims.
Rate for Poland
The survey was carried out on 21-23 August 2026 by CATI and CAWI on a typical example of 1000 adults in Poland. The division of the mandates of the HR calculated the approximate method of Prof. Jarosław Flis from the Jagiellonian University, subject to a possible difference of 3-5 mandates per committee. This is important, due to the fact that a single poll is not a verdict, but it shows direction.
Party chess for commentators is not at stake. At stake is who will decide on taxes, borders, school, relations with Brussels and safety of Polish families. If the right wishes to regain the state for average national policy, it must treat results specified as a commitment. Numbers give you a chance. The character will show whether it will be used.
