The events in Donbasa accelerated dramatically. At the end of July, erstwhile I was in Pokrowsk and under Wuhledar, the disaster seemed very distant. At the time, the Russians were more than 20 kilometres from Pokrovsk, trying to exit the rear of Wuhledar with an armored tail in Kurachowe direction – [as I wrote on Defence24.pl but were massacred](https://defence24.pl/war-on-ukrainie-report-special-defence24/bit-tank-under-curach-Russian-compromotion-long-analysis?srsltid=AfmBOoqaU5hwZzgItUt4X4-RcW0VR55xvbBvEfpWFTNGxAZATTB). The advancement of the Russian offensive on Pokrowsk, in fresh weeks, has unfortunately caused problem on the full extending front in the arch from – mentioned – Wuhledar (south), to Torecka (north).
