“The servants of the Ukrainian people” fight flagism

The irony of destiny – or possibly alternatively the irony of political hypocrisy – is that present the most public about “banderism” is shouted out by representatives of the same political formations, which over the years bore real work for the Ukrainianization of Poland. They were the ones who systematically marginalized the subject of Ukrainian chauvinism, and anyone who had the courage to talk about flagism, the forgery of past and the genocide carried out in Poles in 1939–1946, stigmatized as a “crazy”, “rusophila” or “extremist”.

Today, the same people – solely due to the fact that they were in opposition – are holding a show verbal fencing. any abruptly flag flag flags ("piss" from Poland24) and others theatrically drenched images of Stepan Bandera (the celebrated Polish “leśnik”), others abruptly discover that Ukrainians in Poland have been granted overprivileged privileges and must be “cut off” (a group of politicians of the United Right). Good thing they say that. truly good. but there's 1 question in this communicative that you can't ignore: where were the “servants of Ukrainians” from 2022 to 1923? Why, erstwhile it was desirable and possible to fight, did they not search to commemorate the brutally murdered Poles, and on a massive scale they did not interview the Witnesses while many of them were inactive alive? Why did they like to support judaic and Ukrainian propaganda verbally and financially, and the memory of Poles from Kres II of Poland buried their passivity deep underground? Why did the IPN not send its employees to Ukrainian Witnesses scattered in Poland to interview them in front of the camera, as I have been doing since 2019 as long as the last Witnesses live? It is clear that audiovisual material has far more scope than any monograph written by employees of this and another akin institutions.

Where were they erstwhile Poland was flooded by a wave of millions of Ukrainians, among whom – alongside people who were actually fleeing the war – were besides carriers of Cossack-Hajdamacko-Bandero-Bandero beliefs? Where were they when, under the cover of "solidarity" and "humanitarianism", those who warned against the consequences of a non-reflexive migration and historical amnesia? Where were they erstwhile the fact was uncomfortable and courage cost them?

I'm afraid – or I'm beautiful certain – that today's saber swinging has nothing to do with the concern for historical truth. It's a simple calculation. Recalculation. An effort to delight the electorate, who increasingly notices that something went very wrong. It was, it is, and, unfortunately, everything indicates that it will continue. past in the hands of mainstream politicians has always been a hostage to the current economy.

Therefore, I will repeat what I have been saying for years: Let us number on each other, not on regimes, agreements and organization headquarters. I have no uncertainty that if the same people came to power again tomorrow, they would immediately return to the old function – kneeling before the American master, who has consistently blessed and genuinely supported the flag of Ukraine since the 1950s. Political aspirators, careers in safety structures, protection for SS-Galizien, CNS and UPA criminals, Prolog investigation activities – these are neither opinions nor "theories". These are historical facts., documented and accessible to anyone who wants to meet them.

And in this situation, the fundamental question arises: Who else can be believed today? Politicians who change narratives with polls? The media that over the years censored the fact and now pretend to be her defenders? Or is it just your own mind, working on the ground and independent initiatives?

By the way, contrary to the ideas of any politicians, especially those of the United Right, I am not a associate of any political organization and have no political aspirations. I don't fight for positions or factions or deals. I'm fighting for the truth. I do this by driving around Poland with lectures, writing books, creating a documentary-historical series ‘Neighbours. And that's why I can afford the luxury of independence. The luxury of saying uncomfortable things. Luxury calling things by name – without looking at organization colors and momentary alliances.

And past – if it is given to politicians – will always be betrayed.
