The “March for Peace” protests were held in Slovak cities. A series of protests against NATO, arming Ukraine and improving relations with Russia began on 3 February and will proceed until 3 March, erstwhile a large protest will be held in front of the US embassy in Bratislava. However, participants announce actions even after that date.

Protests are held at the citizens' initiative, without the aid of political parties, so their mass and spread is afraid about the liberal government of Slovakia. Politicians can attend rallies, but without emphasizing organization affiliation, just like average citizens.

At the gathering in Novi Castles there were besides speeches in Hungarian, due to the fact that there is besides a Hungarian national number there. "Do you want liable patriots to sit in parliament? Do we want a proslovak candidate or a puppet of America to sit in the presidential palace?! We want a peaceful and neutral Slovakia," asked Robert Švec. The congregation agreed unequivocally to his questions. "Then we have quite a few work to do to fix this," Švec said.

The protest besides featured a well-known lawyer, Judit Lašakov, who helped people during the pandemic and thanked all those who came despite the insults and slanders that the government media and members of the ruling parties carry to the demonstrators. “ We are not French to set the city on fire for a fewer cents of taxes, are we asking for something so abnormal erstwhile we ask for peace? We do not want our politicians to send weapons, but to negociate peace with both sides. And hats off to everyone who came here," she said.

“He who does not want peace wants war” sounded 1 of the messages of the meeting.

The rally participants thanked the police for their appropriate behaviour after the walk. All the more so, as respective provocateurs appeared with Ukrainian flags, but demonstrators ignored them and continued the march. “In 2,000 years no 1 has managed to get Slavic, and now the brother goes to his brother while the West is counting money. The Badgers murdered Slovaks and those mediocre Ukrainian flags know it. But Ukrainians are our brothers as are Russians. We are not against Ukraine, but men with tattooed swastikas who kill women and children, throw them against the wall, cut off women's heads. You hear what they're doing, remember, they're your flagmen, fascists. We will side with our Ukrainian brothers, but not with the fascists, ” said 1 speaker.

Activist Miroslav Čimo recorded a video message for everyone. "The Slovaks are a very tiny but very rebellious nation. All the more reason for politicians in a time of pseudo-pandemic to exert pressure, to defend their entry into shops and to work despite pressures. Slovaks are the least vaccinated nation. It is the same today, the more you force Slovaks to hatred Russians, you will not see it," said Miroslav Čimo, the initiative activist “March for Peace”. He besides published a video that was announced yesterday by Slovak and Russian social networks, showing the full square in Trnava chanting “Russia, Russia, Russia” during the “March for Peace”.

The demonstrators are determined to proceed demonstrations in another cities of Slovakia after the Bratislava rally on March 3. Meanwhile, pro-Western media began reporting protests, but always in a negative way.
