
The object that fell in Osiny k. Łukowa (Lubelskie province) last night was the Iranian drone "Shahid" in the Russian version – the spokesperson of the Polish Ministry of abroad Affairs, Paweł Wroński, revealed on Wednesday, in an interview with Reuter Agency. The information was later confirmed by the national defence minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. According to the preliminary findings, this peculiar "Shahid" was a alleged decoy – a drone without a warhead with traces of explosives.
Let us remind that the Operations Command of the Armed Forces types reported this morning, that the Polish military did not detect any object that would fly into Poland's airspace from above Ukraine or Belarus at night. Contrary to the statement, DORSZ turned out that the Russian drone most likely flew into Poland.
"The object, which landed in a corn field in east Poland at night, was a Russian version of the drone Shahid" - said MFA spokesperson Paweł Wroński for the agency Reuters.

The message of outrage against another breach of the Polish airspace by Russian weapons was expressed by the head of MON Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish. "Russia one more time provokes NATO states," said the Minister of National Defence. He added that akin incidents occurred in another countries, including Romania and the Baltic States. At the same time, he announced that Poland is working on an anti-drone strategy that will be able to capture this kind of device.
"As the first state in NATO, we are building a comprehensive anti-drone system," said Kosiniak-Kamish.

Prior to 7:00 p.m., the media reported the results of a preliminary inspection of the drone that fell close Łuków. Prok. Grzegorz Trusiewicz said that subtitles were discovered on the device.
"The inscriptions were revealed, most likely in Korean," the prosecutor revealed.
"The first inspection shows that the drone's harm rate is so advanced that we are incapable to find in any uncertainty where this drone comes from and what production is," he added, while paying attention to the way in the form of subtitles. However, according to the prosecutor, it is not possible to find the model or the drone manufacturer.
