On Wednesday, Sławomir Mentzen, a Confederate presidential candidate, published a video with threats he receives. The politician reported that despite reporting the case to the services, perpetrators stay elusive.
“I got threats from the Ukrainians”
Mentzen admitted that after visiting Lviv he received an email with threats. – “I am getting tired of our cardboard country. I immediately reported it to the applicable services” – wrote on his social media profile.
– "It has been almost 3 months and the perpetrators have not been found. Now I got another threat, this time in the form of a recording” said the politician. The video shows masked men speaking Ukrainian who show a reworked image of Mentzen's family.
"I refused to defend the police"
Thursday on the air Radio Zet Mentzen admitted that after the rally in Toruń he was offered police protection, but did not usage it. – "I'd alternatively have the police look for people who endanger me" – he said.
– “If individual wants to hurt me, they will. Whether I have protection or not” – he added.
The politician did not regulation out threats as provocation. – "It could be Russian provocation. I would even like it to be so, alternatively than any Ukrainians actually threatening to kill me.” – explained.
A sharp reaction to Żukowska's words
Comment by Proukan Leftist Anna Maria Żukowska (Left) provoked Mentzen's outrage. The president of the left parliamentary club wrote on platform X: “You didn’t get it, you just failed to evidence it with your friends [a video with threats—at ed.]”.
– "There is no word for that. If Mrs. Żukowska thinks that I would make threats against my children or my wife, it is simply a misunderstanding.” – Mentzen replied.
– "I never had a very good opinion of Mrs. Żukowska, but here she crossed all the boundaries" – he added.
