On Monday, March 3, 2025, Slawa tv was officially launched – Ukrainian edition of Polish Television. Slawa tv is 1 of the most crucial implementations of the Media Centre for the abroad – a fresh TVP unit created in December 2024 – and an crucial component of the Polish east Policy. Slawa tv will broadcast 6 hours of program per day in the Belsat tv band. The Slava tv website with the most crucial information on Ukraine was besides launched with the editorial activity.
One of the most crucial tasks of Ukrainian-language editorial Slave tv is the transmission of the Polish and European position on processes taking place in Ukraine and in the world. The editorial focus is on common geostrategic goals of Ukraine and Poland, not on the political interests of individual figures or elites. The editorial activity is intended to strengthen the ties between Poland and Ukraine. As the editors emphasize, Slava tv focuses on current news, reliable journalism and interviews with experts and opinion leaders.
– The appearance of Slawa tv in the 4th year of the large War is Polish-Ukrainian information Ramstein – a task that multiplys the efforts of both countries in a joint fight against the aggressor, triumph over dictatorships and strengthening democracy in Central Europe – This is Maria Górska, head of Slava tv editorial.– We have active experienced journalists, influential volunteers, public figures and opinion leaders. In our first projects, viewers will be able to see writer and political analyst Vitali Portnykov, head of Euromaidan-Warsaw Natalia Panchenko, editor of the chief publication “Nova Polszcza” by Evhen Klimakin, expert on global politics by judaic Magda, writer and expert on Polish-Ukrainian dialog Lesia Wakuluk, Polish tv presenter and businesswoman Weronika Marczuk and others. We besides invitation outstanding figures of Polish journalism and influential politicians to cooperate and explain their crucial talks to us in Ukrainian. We are trying to make the European and Polish political thought as close as possible to Ukraine. The common interest of our countries is strong Ukraine – Poland's partner in the EU –adds Mountain.
Editorial squad Slave tv It consists of experienced journalists from leading Ukrainian media (e.g. “Ukraine 24”, “Espreso”, ICTV, “New Channel”, “Freedom”), mainly temporary war migrants who, due to the war in Ukraine, went to Poland with their children.
