SIPRI report: Europe is armed due to tensions with Russia

Tensions in relations and subsequent conflict with Russia over the last 5 years have resulted in a sharp increase in arms transfers to European countries. In 2022 Ukraine became the 3rd largest arms importer in the planet - according to a study published on Monday by the Stockholm Institute for Peace investigation (SIPRI).
