Investment in the future – improvement of port infrastructure
Port of Gdynia intensively modernises its infrastructure to meet increasing demand. The key task is the expansion of the Liquid Fuel Transhipment Station (SPPP), which will enable the operation of even larger tankers. After completion of the work, the facility will be adapted to accommodate units with a burden capacity of more than 100,000 tonnes.
Fuels from SPPP go to a warehouse base in Dębogórz, managed by PERN. Currently, this base is simply a leader in the country and its further expansion will let for even more retention possibilities. The planned investments include the construction of fresh tanks, which will importantly increase the capacity of the facility.
