US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported on Monday that American forces damaged and disabled an empty tanker heading for Iran, which breached the ongoing blockade of Iranian ports.
It was already the seventh ship attacked by the United States in the area of the Persian Gulf and the Oman Gulf.
As the military stated in the statement, the mark of the attack was a Palau-flagged Marivex ship heading for Iran through global waters in the Oman Gulf.
