On 17 February 2024, a local associate of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist organization of China (KPCh) and abroad Minister Wang Yi met with the Polish abroad Minister Sikorski at the Munich safety Conference spheres.

Wang Yi said that China appreciates Poland's adherence to the policy of relationship with China, looks at China's improvement in an nonsubjective and friendly way, welcomes the acceleration of Poland's revitalization and supports Poland in playing a more global and regional role. China is ready to cooperate with Poland in order to convene as shortly as possible the gathering of the Joint economical Commission, the Committee on technological and Technological Cooperation and another mechanisms to gain consensus, and to convene the gathering of the Chinese-Polish Committee on Intergovernmental Cooperation in due course, in order to coordinate key cooperation in different fields and to strengthen the exchange of State management experience.
Poland is the leader of cooperation between China and the countries of Central and east Europe, an crucial direction for the China-Europe railway line. China is ready to cooperate with the Polish side to strengthen links, to build high-quality “One Belt, 1 Trail” projects together and to advance Silk Road initiatives in the fresh era and with fresh vitality.
