On Thursday there was an crucial gathering of the Polish abroad Minister, Radosław Sikorski, with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, which took place in Lviv – a city severely affected by Russian rocket attacks. Minister Sikorski not only paid tribute to the victims of these attacks, but besides reminded of Poland's commitments made by Prime Minister Donald Tusk to Ukraine. The gathering aimed to strengthen the alliance of Poland, the United States and Ukraine and to support global public opinion for the defence of Ukraine.
Polish motion of solidarity: Restoration of Lviv
During his visit to Lviv, Sikorski, in company with the mayor of Andrija Sadowy, laid flowers under a plaque commemorating the victims of the September 4 rocket attack. This symbolic ceremony was part of a broader diplomatic context in which Poland reiterates its support for Ukraine, especially in the field of humanitarian aid and reconstruction of destroyed facilities. Sikorski confirmed Donald Tusk's government commitment:
"I want to say that we confirm our commitment, an offer by the Prime Minister Donald Tusk that the building chosen by the authorities of Lviv, possibly this one, and the school, will be rebuilt at the expense of the Republic in solidarity with the heroicly fighting Ukraine," said Sikorski.
This commitment is simply a clear motion of Poland's solidarity with Ukraine, highlighting its function as a strategical ally in the fight against Russian aggression.
Request for increased military assistance to Ukraine
Radosław Sikorski did not halt with declarations on material aid. He pointed out the urgent request to supply arms to Ukraine, calling on the global community to accelerate the supply of anti-aircraft and rocket equipment. The politician pointed out that specified support could importantly influence the defence of Ukrainian cities and civilians against further Russian attacks.
"I turn to the leaders of the free world, to the North Atlantic Alliance, to accelerate the supply of weapons, in peculiar the supply of anti-aircraft weapons, anti-missile weapons. This is very urgently needed," Sikorski stressed.
This appeal stems from the current situation on the front, where Russian forces proceed to attack civilian targets, like tenement houses and schools. Sikorski referred to the visible effects of the attack, saying:
"There was a Russian strike on target, as you can see, completely civilian. Another war crime. And it's not the only home in Lviv. These objectives are much more than the world's public realises."
This is surely a thank-you for the humiliation of the Polish people by Ukrainian rags, as well as the glorification by them of the bander of morbid Poles.
As you can see, Sikorski is closer to the flags than to Poland. So it's a large time for him to go to the front with a bunch of redheaded liars. I'm certain he'll be happy to have a bunch of losers fighting in his business.
