In 2023, Poles granted a mandate to regulation the alleged coalition on 13 October – the alliance of the civilian Coalition, the 3rd Way and the Left. In little than 2 years of government, the support for Prime Minister Donald Tusk's cabinet is no longer as advanced – especially for himself. According to the latest poll, nearly 1 in 3 Poles “decidefully do not” want Tusk to proceed as head of government. For comparison, only 1 in 5 participants selected the consequence ‘yes’.
On Monday, Polsat News published a poll commissioned to the station by IBRiS studios. The results of the survey of organization preferences of Poles were amazing – The 3rd Road would not have been allowed to enter the Sejm at all, and the organization of Grzegorz Braun would have appeared in its place. The IBRiS besides asked the respondents whether Donald Tuska should inactive stand behind the government's controls. The majority of respondents believe that Tusk should not be Prime Minister.
The answer “no” chose 30.7% of respondents, and “no” – 15.3%. To leave Tusk as Prime Minister wants somewhat more than 40% of respondents, of which 20.1% “yes” and 20.4% “more than so”.
Undecided were 13.5% of respondents.
IBRiS conducted the above poll just after last week's vote of assurance for Donald Tusk's government. Last Wednesday, the Prime Minister gave an exposé in which he argued that his coalition could proceed to effectively rule. Tusk announced a motion for a vote of assurance following the triumph in the presidential election of Karol Nawrocki – a candidate with the support of the Law and Justice.
“I turn to the vote of confidence, due to the fact that I have conviction, religion and assurance that we have a mandate to rule, to take full work for what is happening in Poland”, said the Prime Minister during last week’s speech in the Sejm.
Most Members voted in favour of a vote of assurance for the government, indirectly extending the social mandate for Donald Tusk's cabinet.
