It is Sergei Szojgu who may be the main organizer of the liquidation of Wagner's mercenary Group, not Vladimir Putin – this is the explanation of American analysts, on whom the Institute of War Studies refers. It is hard to imagine that the Shojgu could do this without Putin's permission, but in fact it was the head of the Russian Defence Ministry who was the main political opponent of the killed Primogyn.
