Maria Bearwiecka, the consul for Poles in the east, commits suicide after receiving a mysterious message. Tragedy takes place during her daughter's birthday party.
Polish spy, Ewa Oginiec, fulfills his mission in Kaliningrad. It is to get valuable information about Tamara Sorokina's work – a Russian atomic engineer. Pretending to be her son's fiancée, she arrives at the organization for the 30th anniversary of his influential parents' wedding. The organization is attended by the political-artistic establishment: there are people from the ellipse of power, oligarchs and high-ranking military. Among them is Belarusian general Boris Kozlov – a fan of large Russia, in which the return absolutely believes.
However, the event ends tragically and Eve has to face the consequences of her double game. In her escape from Russia, she is helped by Skinner, an intelligence colleague with whom she has feelings.
Eve's going home to her sister in Podlasie. Women haven't seen each another in the last 5 years due to Eve. The increased tensions are getting worse Kaj – 20-year-old boy of Paulina. Staying in a household home forces Eve to reflect on her life. possibly it's time to back off and start surviving like the others.
However, time is restless – erstwhile information comes about the suicide of the Polish consul from the Minsk embassy, Polish intelligence is investigating the case. Is that Russian provocation? According to intelligence, in the Polish community or in the Polish embassy there is simply a “mecret”. To get him, he wants to send the best. It's raining on Eve and Skinner. As Eve recovers from her sister, Skinner himself goes to Minsk.
There is an exchange of prisoners between Poland and Belarus. Polish prison leaves an highly valuable Russian spy – Oleg Skopincev, for whom Poland recovers respective political prisoners, including Jan Dravicz – a writer and activist fighting with the word for human rights and democratic Belarus.

Son of Paulina and nephew of Eve, first-year law student, activist, idealist. He suspended his studies to aid migrants on the Polish-Belarusian border. Brave, following a heartbeat. It doesn't foretell consequences.
Jan Dravich (TOMASZ ZIETEK)
Polish-Belarusian writer and activist for Polish minority, political prisoner. Patriot, uncompromising and courageous, which paradoxically proves useful to alien interviews. He has a wife and kid “on the way”.
Maria Dravich (ELiza RICEMBEL)
Jan Draewicz's wife is expecting her first child. Unfortunately, her husband’s activity will destruct her plans for a peaceful life. Despite pain and fear, he supports his beloved.
