In June 2024, French president Emanuel Macro declared training Ukrainian pilots and ground personnel to work on Mirage 2000-5 fighters. They were to be trained by the end of 2024, and by the beginning of 2025 the first aircraft were to appear in Ukraine. Mirage 2000 is simply a device that is intended only to complement the transmitted by Danes, Dutch, Norwegians and Belgians, upgraded F-16AM/BM. The Ukrainians have requested only 12 specified machines so far, and thus 1 squadron. So far, respective of them should be transferred.
