Adam Gomola He settled from the lump sum of the parliamentary office 37 205 zł for renting a car from a company whose partner is his partner. The law firm of the Sejm, which, on 7 July 2026, did not find a lease agreement or invoices with the Polish MP, after completing the documentation, recognised this expenditure and rejected PLN 2 285 from it. Since March 2024, this is the 3rd case where the youngest associate of the X-term makes public explanations.
The law firm of the Sejm entered the parliamentary office and found no contract
The audit of the lump sum of the Adam Gomola parliamentary office took place on 7 July 2026, in the 3rd year of the 10th parliamentary term. The auditors of the Chancellery of the Sejm stated that there is no car rental agreement in the office documentation or invoices on the basis of which the MP showed an expenditure of PLN 40 000. The firm has appointed 30 days to supplement the papers or correct the report, and has consequently indicated that the lump sum has been withheld.
The case came to light on 18 August 2026, erstwhile entrepreneur Aleksander Twardowski published audit papers received from the Chancellery of the Sejm. According to them, the MP's contractor was QMP, and the car has been rented since June 2025. The scheme, in which public money goes to a company personally associated with politics, returns in this word regularly: in summertime we described microcavalers Deputy Minister Ireneusz Rasiaand before orders for the company Minister of Culture.
39 490 zł on start, 37 205 zł after correction
On 2 September 2026, the Chancellery of the Sejm gave the audit results. The MP provided the missing papers to the Office of Members and corrected the financial statements and the office recognized almost the full amount. The following list shows how much settlement has changed.
| car rental | 39 490 zł | 37 205 zł |
| Total expenditure of the parliamentary office | PLN 268,511.04 | PLN 266 480.64 |
| amount not recognised by the Chancellery of the Sejm | Not applicable | 2 285 PLN |
After correction, the rent of 1 car is liable for nearly 14% of all expenditures of Adam Gomola's parliamentary office in the audited settlement. all seventh buck went to the car.
QMP, partner and date dispute in KSeF
The lease agreement was concluded in June 2025, and the partner of QMP was Barbara Łabędzka in 2026, described in the media as an MP's fiancee, thus already in the course of the contract. He runs the Carrington Media&Event agency and advised the MP in 2023 on his work in the Sejm. The charges in no of Adam Gomola's cases were heard.
So we're expected to believe Gomola drives his fiancée's car and she makes him pay for it?
Aleksander Twardowski, entrepreneur who revealed control documentsThe MP replied that the transaction was legal and full documented.
All the transfers have been made. I have invoices for all period of use, I have them, and I have KSeF.
Adam Gomola, Polish MP 2050Aleksander Twardowski pointed out a chronological discrepancy here. The national e-Faktur strategy became mandatory for companies with a turnover of little than PLN 200 million per year only from April 2026, which is 10 months after the date of the first invoice dated June 2025. The invoice from that period could be included in the strategy only voluntarily, so the mention to KSeF itself does not confirm anything.
To which the lump sum of the parliamentary office may be spent
The lump sum for the parliamentary office is simply a monthly amount from the budget of the Chancellery of the Sejm, from which the MP finances the operation of its activities in the field: premises, employees, equipment, transport and materials. The basis is Article 23 of the Act of 9 May 1996 on the exercise of the mandate of MP and Senator. Paragraph 3 of this Article states that the amount and rules of the lump sum shall be determined jointly by the Marshal of the Sejm and the Marshal of the Senate, and the appropriations may be utilized only for the purposes indicated in paragraph 1. Paragraph 10 requires settlement to be lodged with the Chancellery of the Sejm during the yearly periods and at the end of the word of office.
As of 1 January 2025, the lump sum amounts to PLN 23.3 1000 per month, i.e. by PLN 1.1 1000 more than in 2024. The increase was introduced by a joint order by the marshals of the 2 chambers at the time, justifying the increase in operating costs. The yearly cost of lump sums for 460 MPs and 100 senators is about PLN 156.6 million.
The provision does not prohibit the conclusion of contracts with an entity affiliated to a Member. The office of the Sejm checks whether the expenditure is for statutory purposes and whether there is simply a paper behind it, not who owns the company on the another side of the contract. That's what the deputy chief of the Sejm said.
This is simply a rental car from the company, from business. We are incapable to verify whether this economical activity is related to individual whom the associate knows.
Jerzy Wozniak, Deputy Head of the Sejm ChancelleryThe formal settlement so closes the case at the level of the office. The question of the relation between the contractor and the associate remains out of procedure and goes back to the organization that decides whether to take care of him.

2024 tapes, three-person charges and an invalid judgment
The affair that stuck to the MP's name began 2 years earlier. In March 2024, “New Trybuna Opolska” published transcripts of talks in which the MP was to urge the candidate to transfer PLN 20 1000 to the company's account of his co-worker, described as a consultancy fee. Barbara Łabędzka stated in March 2024 that she did not participate in recorded conversations and received any money. specified construction would bypass the spending limits of the election committee. On 8 March 2024, Gomoła was suspended in the rights of a associate of Poland 2050 and the club, then removed from the structures of the party. He described the recordings as a political provocation of opponents from the region.
24 April 2024. The territory Prosecutor's Office in Opole initiated an investigation pursuant to Article 506(7) of the Electoral Code, which for incorrect financing of the committee provides for a fine from PLN 1,000 to PLN 100 thousand. On 16 March 2026, the Opole territory Attorney's Office charged 3 female MPs. 1 of them, the then head of the parliamentary office, heard the charge of forging the signature of a candidate for councillor, threatened by imprisonment of up to 5 years. The another 2 heard allegations of financing electoral materials from a private account alternatively of an electoral fund. no of them confessed. The MP himself was questioned as a witness in the proceedings and did not hear the charges.
On 16 October 2025, the parliamentary club of Poland 2050 welcomed the MP back. The club president, Paweł Sliz, argued that after a year and a half of proceedings, law enforcement authorities did not find grounds for charging him. 5 months later, however, there was a judgement in another case. On 30 March 2026, the Opole territory Court ruled in a trial for the protection of individual property, which was issued by MP Witold Rozazowski, manager of the cabinet of the Krapkowice governor. Gomoła identified him in an interview with Onetu as a associate in recorded conversations. The court found this claim false and ordered an apology on the Facebook page and the acquisition of a paid announcement at Oneta for 14 days. The conviction is not final.
Members' criminal cases return to the plenary in this term. 31 July 2026. Sejm refused to let the arrest of MP Wojciech Król.
What about the settlement and the club with 15 MPs
The Management Board of Poland 2050 requested written explanations and the results of the checks. Club president Paweł Śliz said that the MP had filed the required papers within the prescribed time limit, and the organization wants to cut media speculation. However, excluding a associate would mean disbanding the club. Poland 2050 has precisely 15 members in the Sejm, and this is the statutory minimum needed to keep the position of parliamentary club.
- Prosecutor's proceedings against 3 co-workers are pending, no of them have admitted the allegations
- the judgement of the Opole territory Court of 30 March 2026 is invalid and may be brought before the Court of Appeal
- The law firm of the Sejm did not announce another audit in the parliamentary office or specify whether PLN 2 285 would be returned
The question remains, to which no of the papers answer, whether the rental rate corresponds to marketplace prices. Neither the Chancellery of the Sejm nor the organization shall examine this criterion and the MP shall specify the rate.
