The Sejm passed present a bill that raises the taxation threshold in PIT from 120 1000 to 130 thousand, introduces a second threshold of 150 1000 PLN and a new, 24-percent rate for income between 130 and 150 1000 PLN. The bill will now go to the Senate.
240 MPs voted in favour of the bill, 58 against and 135 abstained.
The amendment to the individual Income taxation Act, the Corporate Income taxation Act and the Flat-rate Income taxation Act on certain revenues generated by individuals includes changes in thresholds and taxation rates.
