Security price: PLN 5.5 trillion. ZPP and Defence Institute present the cost balance of possible war

Modern war is simply a process of "macroanihilation of capital", leading to a deep regression of civilization and systemic losses, which will take decades to recover - these are the conclusions of the survey entitled "Economic costs of war for Poland". The paper is the first specified a comprehensive effort to estimation the real price that Polish society would pay in the event of an armed conflict. The study was presented on 7 May 2026 at the Defence24 Days conference, prepared by the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers (ZPP) and the Defence Institute.
