We are facing crucial challenges in terms of our ability to guarantee deterrence and defence in the following years as transatlantic countries. Focusing our attention only on Russian aggression towards Ukraine can be very deceptive, but it may besides be incorrect to recognise that we do not request to aid Russia's assaulted state. The solution to this dilemma is to face the myths that are now repentant in the debate on the fundamental strategical aspects of our continent, the functioning of NATO and the assessment of the direction in which the Russian neo-imperial policy is heading.
