General Christopher Cavali
US Force Commander in Europe (also known as USEUCOM), General Chris Cavali, testified present at the Capitol before the legislature Armed Forces Committee. His beginning statement is an different mix of honesty, fantasy and pure, uncontaminated male bovine waste ( MBE [Such an American joker: “it serves as a beautiful way to say “Bullshit” md]
It highlights my earlier claim that high-ranking U.S. defence officials will hide the fact (euphemism meaning " lie ) to preserve an intact existing policy, even if this policy fails. We saw it in the Vietnam War, and later in a parade of generals who They've repeatedly told legislature we're winning in Afghanistan.
I will quote a fewer paragraphs from his statements that illustrate what I mean. Cavali reluctantly admits at the beginning of his remarks that Russia is not in a hard military situation:
Russian Reconstruction
Despite extended losses on the battlefield in Ukraine, the Russian army is reconstructing and increasing faster than most analysts predicted. In fact, the Russian army that carried the burden of fighting present is larger than at the beginning of the war — despite the estimated 790,000 casualties. In December 2024, Moscow ordered the army to increase its number to 1.5 million active members of the service and recruits about 30,000 soldiers per month. Russian forces on Ukraine's front lines now exceed 600,000, which is the highest level during the war and almost twice as many as the first number of invasive forces.
Despite repeating the lie that Russia suffered 790 000 casualties, Cavali admits that the Russian army is now larger than in 2022 and that the Russians add at least 360,000 fresh soldiers to their ranks each year. I want to remind you that over the last 70 years, the U.S. Army has consistently overestimated enemy losses. The most striking case was the Vietnam War I mentioned in the erstwhile article. During the russian business of Afghanistan, CIA and DIA analysts claimed that Russia had lost over 30,000 people. Russia's authoritative figures represented half of this figure. I admit that Cavali admitted that " The Russian army is rebuilding and increasing faster than most analysts predicted. It’s okay. ”
The next paragraph is truly stunning:
Russia not only reconstructs soldiers, but besides replaces combat vehicles
And ammunition at an unprecedented rate. Russian land forces in Ukraine lost estimated 3,000 tanks, 9,000 armoured vehicles, 13,000 artillery systems, and over 400 air defence systems in the last year — but it is on track to name them all. Russia expanded its industrial production, opened fresh production facilities and converted commercial production lines for military purposes. As a result
The Russian defence base is expected to release 1,500 tanks, 3,000 armoured vehicles and 200 ballistic missiles and maneuvering Iskander this year. (For comparison, the United States produces only about 135 tanks per year and no longer produces fresh Bradley combat cars). Moreover, we anticipate Russia to produce 250,000 artillery shells per month, which puts it on a good way to building stocks 3 times the size of the United States and Europe combined.
The key issue is not the massive estimated losses of Russian tanks, vehicles and artillery. Despite the losses Russia " is on the right way to replace them all “ Cavali besides admits that Russia produces 11 tanks for anyone that can produce the United States. And this number is confusing. American tanks, which Cavali refers to, are mostly renovated versions of existing structures. The United States is not producing fresh tanks. The cherry on the cake is the last sentence: Russia produces 3 times as many artillery missiles as the United States and Europe combined. Nevertheless, many delusional Western experts insist that Russia's economy is struggling with problems, is on the verge of a breakdown. This qualifies as MBE [Bullshit md]
Cavali's first conviction in the next paragraph is simply a real mystery due to the fact that it suggests that part of Russia's military possible has been demoted. Really? He just admitted that Russia's army is increasing rapidly, and Russia's arms manufacture is moving full power. I think he's just trying to put any lipstick on a dying pig like Ukraine.
Not all Russian military capabilities have been demoted by war. Russia inactive has the world's largest atomic weapons arsenal. The Russian atomic arsenal consists of about 2500-3500 large and low-power warheads that can be adapted for usage on the battlefield or utilized strategically. Recently, the Kremlin has updated its atomic policy, which aims to communicate a lower atomic threshold and specify the degree of eventuality that could justify the usage of atomic weapons. Russia besides maintains robust chemical and biological weapons programs and has repeatedly utilized chemical weapons of chloropicrin and riot control measures as a method of combating Ukraine's front lines, violating its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention. In terms of its air and maritime capabilities, Russia suffered only tiny losses in Ukraine. The Russian Air-Space Force presently has over 1,100 combatable aircraft, including stealth Su-57 fighters and strategical bombers Tu-95 and Tu-160. Despite losses in the Black Sea Fleet, the Russian Navy remains intact, with more than 60 submarines and 42 submarines capable of firing Calibr maneuvering missiles with atomic warheads.
In the last fewer sentences there are certain sensational revelations — i.e. the Russian Air Force suffered only insignificant losses, and the Russian Navy is in very good condition. So, which part of the Russian army was demoted? What about the results of the Russian army:
Russian formations gain combat experience. The military showed its ability to learn on the battlefield, spread fresh concepts in organizations and counter Ukrainian tactical and method advantages. It has implemented fast adaptation cycles and is developing fresh capabilities to accelerate the modernization of forces. In November 2024, Russian troops carried out their first attack on a Ukrainian military facility utilizing a fresh ballistic mid-range rocket Oreshnik. Russian officials have stated that this rocket may be equipped with a atomic warhead. We have seen Russian forces utilizing fresh electronic countermeasures produced in the country against Ukrainian disruptive technology to increase impact effectiveness. In addition, Russian land forces integrate reconnaissance and one-way assault drones into their offensives on the battlefield. Russia is besides expanding its sub-marine capabilities by adding nuclear-powered submarines of the Siewierodwińsk-II class, nuclear-powered submarines of the Dołgoruki II class and another submarine designation capabilities in both European and Indo-Pacific theatres. These fresh possibilities show that the Russian army intends to gain tactical and operational advantage on the future battlefield.
In another words, Russian military leaders are not a group of incompetent fools, and Russian troops show an enviable level of refinement in their actions. I ask you again: What humiliation?
In case you forget, Adam Entous' article in New York Times on Monday he revealed Cavali as an anti-Slavic racist and the main planner of Ukraine's failed attacks on Russia. Here. sample of applicable quotations of this article:
The British They claimed that if Ukrainians were to go anyway, the coalition had to aid them. They didn't should be as good as the British and the Americans, said General Cavali; they had to be just better than the Russians. . .
If the coalition fails to refocus its own ambitions, General Donahue and the commander of the US Army Europe and Africa, General Christopher G. Cavali, concluded that hopelessly weaker in numbers and weapons Ukrainians would lose the war. In another words, the coalition would gotta start delivering dense offensive weapons — M777 artillery batteries and missiles. . .
Generals Cavali and Aguto so recommended another quantum leap, equipping the Ukrainian army with tactical rocket systems—missiles known as ATACMS that can cross a distance of up to 190 miles—to impede the Russian forces in Crimea's defence of Melitopol. . .
But first, urgent cases in Wiesbaden: Generals Cavali and Aguto explained that they do not see any sensible way to regain crucial territory in 2024. The coalition was simply incapable to deliver all the equipment for a serious counteroffensive. The Ukrainians were incapable to build an army large adequate to set it up. . .
Ukrainians have requested approval to usage weapons delivered by the US abroad. Moreover, Generals Cavali and Aguto proposed that Wiesbaden aid guide these attacks, as he did in Ukraine and Crimea — giving points of interest and precise coordinates. . .
This became the minute erstwhile the Biden administration changed the rules of the game. Generals Cavali and Aguto were given the task of creating an "ops box" — a region on Russian dirt in which Ukrainians could fire weapons delivered by the US, and Wiesbaden could support their attacks.
If a Russian general, working from Mexico, committed specified behaviour in the United States, do you think the President, legislature and the American people would care? I bet you do. Trump and his negotiators should remember this erstwhile they deal with Putin and his team. They will not free the U.S. from work for facilitating the death of more than 1 million Ukrainians and many thousands Russians. [see above: estimated 790,000 victims. md]
