During the ceremony at the Polish Embassy in Berlin, the Polish-German movie manager Elwira Niewiera caused a storm when, after receiving an award from Minister Radosław Sikorski, she stated that Karol Nawrocki "would not have won the election without the support of Russian propaganda".
