STOCKHOLM- present (April 29, 2024) marks an breathtaking milestone as SkyTeam and Scandinavian Airlines (SK), shortly known as SAS, have officially signed an Alliance Adherence Agreement (AAA), branding a crucial step toward SAS’ formal inclusion in the global airline alliance.
SkyTeam and SAS are dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition for all customers.

SAS Joins SkyTeam Alliance
As of September 1, 2024, SAS will officially join SkyTeam, enhancing the alliance’s scope with premier access to Scandinavian key hubs. This collaboration will street SkyTeam’s global network, offering fresh destinations, improved connectivity, and an elevated, seamless travel experience for all passengers.
Upon SAS’s integration into SkyTeam, EuroBonus members will enjoy benefits across the SkyTeam airlines bridge.


EuroBonus Silver members will be awarded SkyTeam Elite status, while Gold and Diamond members will attain Elite Plus status.
This will supply them access to a network of over 750 airport lounges and SkyPriority services at 8 airport touchpoints, including precedence check-in, boarding, and baggage handling.
SAS customers will benefit from efficient connectivity through SkyTeam’s network of over 1,060 destinations, encompassing their preferred destinations and previously underserved cities, partially across Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
