The government did not respond to our call to halt harassing border defenders

Already over 6 weeks ago, on 24 April, together with Mr Braun, we warned that Siedle D.A. appointed a peculiar investigative squad to analyse alleged crimes committed by Polish soldiers and border guards. It is clear that the political consent of Minister Bodnar must have been for specified action.

There was neither a consequence from the government nor an interest from the media to our call to halt harassing border defenders.

It is only present that what was unfortunately clear to us was already clear. That a soldier on the border faces a dramatic choice: to shoot and exposure himself to charges/prisonment/prison, or hide his weapon and exposure himself to injury or death at the hands of an aggressive immigrant. The state under Donald Tusk alternatively of supporting and praising for the courage to defend borders discourages soldiers from utilizing weapons and thus puts them in mortal danger.

The Confederacy clearly and invariably demands for the uniformed full right to usage weapons in defence of Polish borders. The crisis at the border will end very rapidly erstwhile 2 conditions are met:
– Polish soldiers and border guards will know that they are not in jail for shooting an aggressive immigrant on the Polish side of the barrier,
– The immigrants brought by Lukashenko will know that an effort to illegally breach the dam may end in beginning fire to them.

As the only organization in the Sejm, we consistently say the same thing – now, six weeks ago, and 3 years ago at the beginning of the crisis on the border.
