Cyba leaves the prison
According to tv Republika, Ryszard Cyba left prison on March 18, 2025, despite being sentenced to life in 2011 for the execution of PiS activist Mark Rosiak and the attack on Paweł Kowalski, assistant MP Jarosław Jagiełła. According to the court ruling, he could have applied for early release after 30 years of punishment.
According to TV, the Republic of Cyba's release was the consequence of a ‘suspension of enforcement proceedings’ which had to do with the anticipation of a court decision to initiate compulsory psychiatric treatment. After his release from prison Cyba went to Czestochowa, where he was checked in, and went to a facility offering social assistance.

This is not within the mind: a associate of the platform who hatedly murdered a PiS activist in Łódź, went free. It's been 1 day at large and the bandit has already threatened people! Who even let a murderer like that leave prison?! This decision is simply a provocation of Tusk and his companions – which actually threatens the lives of people (...) There is no consent to specified provocations and endangering the lives of people!
Sebastian Kaleta, in turn, commented that despite the announcement of Deputy Minister of Justice Maria Ejchart about the release of 25,000 people from prisons, Richard Cyba was released. He was amazed that he was released after 14 years in prison, although the court sentenced him to life imprisonment with the anticipation of seeking release after 30 years. Kaleta stressed that Cyba's condition did not indicate the request to release him, and after his release from prison he threatened others, which led to his transfer to a intellectual institution. He pointed out that Cyba had people specified as Jarosław Kaczyński or Zbigniew Ziobro on his list of victims, which raises concerns about his further actions.
