NATO atomic exercises are underway. Participation of 17 countries

NATO will launch yearly Steadfast Noon atomic deterrence exercises in Italy on 13 October, involving 17 countries. The participation was confirmed by Sweden, which will direct JAS 39 Gripen fighters and armed forces personnel. Swedish crews will practice conventional support tasks. The General Command of the Polish Armed Forces does not comment on the possible participation of the Polish Armed Forces.
