Construction of the 3rd British frigate kind 31 begins

So far, it seems that the ceremony held on 9 October 2024 at Rosyth shipyard will be repeated twice more. The British Navy ordered 5 kind 31 frigates, the first of which the 2 ("Venture" and "Active") are already after the celebration of the keel's location (another: April 26, 2022 and September 16, 2023). Launching the first of them is scheduled to take place in 2024, and transfer to the Royal Navy at the turn of 2026 and 2027. In the case of the “Formidable” frigate, its construction is expected to take about 4 years and its introduction to service is planned at the end of 2028.
