A Russian fighter has breached NATO space. "The situation is very serious"

"The situation is very serious" – so the Minister of abroad Affairs of Estonia assessed the incidental with the Russian fighter who violated the airspace of his country. In his opinion, the Russians sent a military aircraft after attempting to halt a tanker from the alleged shadow fleet.

According to the Navy, "Jaguar" (points to this number on the ship) sailed without a flag to Russia. The crew refused to cooperate and the ship was escorted towards Russian waters.

The Minister of abroad Affairs of Estonia reported on Thursday that Russia had sent a military aircraft due to the fact that his country's Navy had attempted to halt a tanker sailing to Russia under UK sanctions announced on Friday.

"The Russian Federation sent a fighter to check the situation, but this fighter violated NATO territory for nearly a minute," said Reuters, Estonian abroad Minister Margus Tsahkna during a gathering with journalists in Turkish Antalya.
