Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenski announced that the United States would take decisive action against Russia if the Kremlin did not agree to the ceasefire. "There will be strong steps towards the Russian side," said Zelenski in Kiev. The United States plans to increase sanctions and intensify military and financial assistance to Ukraine. The president admitted that the details are not yet known, but these actions are intended to strengthen Kiev in the fight against Russian aggression.
