Russia will avoid compromises that would endanger people's lives, Russian abroad Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview published Wednesday, speaking about a possible peace agreement with Ukraine. He added that Russia would not accept the presence of NATO troops in Ukraine under any circumstances.
