Russia wanted to destabilize the situation in Moldova with diversions pretending to be fans

Russia planned to usage diversions from Serbia to destabilize the situation in the Moldovan capital Chisinau, as quoted by Andrian Cheptonar, the ruling MP of the Action and Solidarity organization (PAS) in the country. Divers were expected to be football fans.
