An officer of Russian military intelligence was badly injured as a consequence of a car-trap detonation in Moscow.
Media supported by the Kremlin reported that an officer, possibly a deputy commander of a military unit specialising in communications, was injured erstwhile an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in his car.
Recordings published in the Telegram app show burnt remains of Toyota Land Cruiser with a torn left side.
Bombing motives are not clear yet, but Russian officials often, despite deficiency of evidence, effort to blame Ukraine for specified incidents.

Ministry of Defence of Romania claims that no drone fragments have been found after attacks on Ukraine
The Romanian Ministry of Defence reported on Wednesday that no drone fragments were found in its territory following Russia's nightly attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure close the border with Romania.
We previously reported that at least 3 people were injured as a consequence of Russian drone attacks on the Ukrainian port city of Izmaił, located on the border with Romania.
The Romanian Ministry of Defence added that 2 F-16 fighters were sent to monitor the situation from the air, which is part of the standard procedure.

Zelenski thanks Ukrainian emergency services
Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelenski thanked his country's rescue services for their "sustainable commitment to the protection of human life".
In a message on the X portal (formerly Twitter) Zelenski praised the state rescue services, which were frequently the mark of Russian raids, in which Moscow forces launch a second rocket towards damaged sites after the arrival of rescuers.

Chinese general diplomat wants long-term relations with Ukraine: Chinese MFA
According to the Chinese Ministry of abroad Affairs Wang Yi stressed that China and Ukraine should look at bilateral relations and plan them in the long term.
Chinese state media reported Wang had previously spoken to his Ukrainian counterpart in Canton.
During the gathering Wang said that both countries should keep contact and exchange, increase common trust and renew friendship. The Chinese MFA spokesperson said so at a regular press conference.

Car detonation victim in Moscow identified as Kremlin intelligence officer
We had previously reported an detonation in Moscow. Now it has been reported that the victim was an officer from the Kremel Military Intelligence (GUR).
The Russian diary Kommiersant, citing anonymous sources, reported that the man was a GRU officer.
According to reports approved by the Kremlin online portal Shot, a man is in a infirmary in critical condition and his wife suffered insignificant injuries as a consequence of an accident on the passenger seat.
The website claims that the detonation caused an improvised explosive device (IED) placed under a pedal in the driver's seat that exploded at the time of the car's ignition.
