Serbia has increased the combat readiness of its armed forces in consequence to the fresh car registration regulations introduced by the authorities in Kosovo. It is assumed that the increase in tension in the Balkans can be inspired by Russia, which is thus trying to distract from the war in Ukraine. However, Europe can rematch the Kremlin by starting the process of removing Russian troops from Transnistria, which is formally owned by Moldova.
