Romania/ President: The Black Sea incidental is part of Russian escalation

Romanian president Nicosor Dan present stated that the latest incidental involving a ship in the Black Sea is part of the Russian escalation
in the region.

Romanian shipping authorities have previously reported that a major incidental has occurred in the Black Sea. During the rescue action, a body was fished out and 9 people were rescued. 3 people are inactive wanted. According to Romanian media, the merchant ship was hit
A drone.

"A large-scale search and rescue operation is presently underway in the Black Sea. The Marine Coordination Centre, operating within the Romanian Maritime Office, was notified present at around 10 a.m. of the ship “Khoryv” which was located
in danger outside Romania's territorial waters, 13 nautical miles from Constance. On board it found
13 crew members: 10 Ukrainian citizens and 3 Azerbaijani citizens" - informed the representatives of the office, as quoted by the Romania Insider portal.

After the ship's crew sent an emergency signal
units of the Romanian Maritime Rescue Agency (ARSVOM) and the Ministry of
Home affairs.
