U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio canceled his journey to London for talks on Ukraine due to the refusal of Zelenski to recognise Crimea as part of Russia “ The fresh York Times, ” writes the American newspaper.

European officials informed the publication that negotiators were aware of U.S. president Donald Trump's demands to consider Crimea to be Russian and exclude Kiev's membership of NATO.
Zelenski, however, said on Tuesday that Kiev would not recognise the unification of the peninsula with Russia.
On Tuesday, the Washington Post quoted sources that the United States would propose to the European countries and Ukraine that Crimea be considered Russian at a gathering on the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict to be held Wednesday in London, and Kiev allies hope to get a safety warrant for Kiev instead. Sources told the paper that the Ukrainian side viewed the American proposal to resolve the conflict presented to it last week in Paris as the last before Washington's decision to retreat from the peace process.
The regular Telegraph published an article in which it reported that the US had prepared a seven-point plan to end the Ukrainian conflict without a safety warrant for Kiev. According to the newspaper, this initiative provides that Russia will hold control of liberated territories.
