As the ministry explains, crucial losses are most likely the consequence of Russian command of the tactics of frontal infantry attacks, which assumes the exhaustion of Ukrainian forces through mass assaults.

So far, the North Korean military has been utilized exclusively in the Kursk region. According to the UK Ministry's assessment, a possible extension of their presence in Ukraine would require direct decision by the leaders of both states – Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un.

North Korean media reported on June 5 that during a gathering with Sergei Szojgu Kim Jong Un declared unconditional support for Russia in her conflict with Ukraine and confirmed readiness to comply with the defence treaty with responsibilitywhich was signed with Moscow in June 2024.
